Hi, I'm Arthur Valtierra

Your native CDMX guide, with a heart for the entire republic.

I’m not a Spanish teacher. I’m a cultural explorer dedicated to opening the real doors of Mexico for you. I was born in vibrant CDMX, but my true education has been traveling from the coast to the mountains, collecting stories, accents, and, most importantly, the language people really speak in every state.

Speaks: Spanish

Teaches: Spanish language

The moment textbook Spanish became obsolete.

For years, I watched foreigners (professionals, travelers, residents) master grammar only to be tongue-tied or misunderstood once they left the tourist circuit. The breaking point came during a trip to Oaxaca. A foreign friend tried to use the “neutral” Spanish they were taught… and failed to connect. I realized: true integration is blocked by the slang, the accent, and the local context. Spanish from a single state, even my own from the capital, was a limitation. I decided my mission was to change that. I had to document and teach the Spanish of all corners of Mexico—not in a classroom, but through the immersion of the Tours.

The only classroom you need: 32 states of direct xxperience.

My knowledge doesn’t come from a didactics manual. It comes from experience: from negotiating in Tijuana, sharing stories in Chiapas, and understanding double entendres in Veracruz. My perspective as a CDMX native (the country’s capital) gives me the foundation, but my travels give me the depth. I have cataloged and documented the language in every region. This is my metric of commitment: 32 States, Over [500] Regional Idioms Mastered. My method doesn’t just teach you to speak; it teaches you to feel the language in every context. This is the difference between being a tourist and being a local.

Don't just take my word for it. Experience Mexico's Spanish.

Reading about immersion Spanish is one thing. Living it in a session, where we begin to explore the lexicon and culture of a new state, is another. If you’re tired of sounding like a book and want to start sounding like a local, let me be your guide.
